Main chart view. This screenshot is from the Ballard locks and Shilshole marina in the area of Seattle.

Standard ENC (Electronic Navigational Chart) features are used for the display. Refer to Chart No 1 for symbology.

ActiveCaptain features are visible as the familiar markers from the activecaptain.com website.

The "compass rose" at the bottom is the Horizontal Situation Indicator (HSI) instrument. It shows current track, desired track and cross track error in a single display.

This is where you perform ActiveCaptain updates. Enter your ActiveCaptain credentials under "Account" and simply tap on the "Update Now" button to download the full ActiveCaptain database on your iPad.

The first update is large and can take a long time to complete. Subsequent updates should be much faster.
