Founder
Bill Zissimopoulos is the Founder and CEO of Navimatics. Bill is a former Developer Lead in Microsoft, where he worked on distributed operating systems, advanced automatic parallelization for compilers and Microsoft's REST protocols for data on the web. Prior to Microsoft, Bill worked for Netscape as a Systems Architect primarily on XML Web Services.
Bill is an enthusiastic private pilot with airplane, floatplane and helicopter ratings and an instrument rating for airplanes. He is also an avid sailor. Out of his private hobbies he developed a strong interest in navigation solutions and eventually founded Navimatics.
